The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) imposed the Chemical Facility Anti-terrorism Standards (CFATS) in 2007 to regulate high-risk chemical facilities. The regulations are intended to enhance the security of U.S. chemical plants against terrorist attacks. DHS regulates the security of more than 7,000 facilities using risk-based performance standards.
HBE is a full-service security integrator that provides electronic physical security solutions. Our services range from threat assessment, to design and engineering, to installation and training, along with long-term service and support. With locations near areas of high concentrations of target companies, our clients include power authorities, transit systems, port authorities, and airports.
We can help you meet the CFATS. Our experts have CVI numbers and are already authorized to work with sensitive information. We can start at any point in the process, from assessing risk, to planning site security, to implementing measures.
